I think that race has been a very big issue throughout the history and present but something seems to be bringing all the silent none spoken about topics to the table, much like this but also the 'White Oscars' that Jada Pinkett-Smith brought up about Boycotting earlier in January. Although it has always been an issue this is the first time that I have heard about the Harvard Emblem and also the Oscars, and i think this is due to my own race. 
People are scared to voice their opinions nowadays  but it is becoming a bigger thing, and due to so many people keeping it in when it comes out it is the talk on everything, TV, magazines, social media etc. So with the emblem being changed i think it is a fair thing to do as times have changed and the things that were acceptable back then are no longer so why keep it in the past, why not bring it to present day. Overall this story was very relevant to things going on in the media at the moment and i feel this issue should be talked about a lot more.

This story was heartbreaking to hear how a trip with friends turned to a death. This was interesting to read as many wouldn't know what a quarry was and how how he could have drowned in it, but this really touched and in my opinion i am glad they have signed a petition to get it filled who knows what else could happen. The only issue i have was they don't mention why the boy was at the quarry in the first place so something could have happened peer pressure anything ..

Using 4 subjects to tackle in a very psychological way that explores each of their personalities and appearances. What it means to you? This programme meant a lot to me because it really made me open up my eyes to the experiences many people go through and this really engaged me throughout the programme. The part i felt the most to me was the overall approach the program took, it made you listen and watch what people have done in their past,present and what they are to do in their future.
