At Christmas many companies and shops have various adverts for an emotional attempt but also for marketing. This is shown in some of the various Christmas adverts we saw. You know that it is for marketing when the various shops start to sell products much like John Lewis and the penguin who are now stocking penguins small and big, because they are limited stock they are going for around £300 on eBay. John Lewis Christmas Ad I liked this advert because it showed an emotional message in a very cute and child effective way. This was effective because you were able to see a cute relationship between the penguin and the young boy and you see that the penguin longs for love and in the end you see it happen, but then they show you that it was really a toy and then kids get drawn I wanting one. I didn't like the advert because I felt that although it was a cute advert you felt that they were really in it for the money and the merchandise rather than their products and a meaning of Christma...

I think for my idea I would like it to be around the paranormal and how things are around you that can't be seen until they find the answer to the link between ghost and humans.  Genre : thriller, supernatural Themes: reality, suspense, tension, determination  It would be set in a new neighbourhood which still has one old and abandoned house. It was just about to be pulled down until a family of a husband, wife and one 4 year old child buy the property as it is the amount they want to pay with great positioning. No one wanted to help them build the house due to the stories about what had happened in that house, the family soon find this information in an old book that was left in the house. Grayson Perry: Who Are You? Grayson Perry is an English Artist mainly known for his Ceramic Vases, however for this program you get to see all his ideas and skills come to life in a hard hitting and remarkable program. Using 4 subjects to tackle in a very psychological way that explores each of their personalities and appearances. What it means to you? This programme meant a lot to me because it really made me open up my eyes to the experiences many people go through and this really engaged me throughout the programme. The part i felt the most to me was the overall approach the program took, it made you listen and watch what people have done in their past,present and what they are to do in their future. It allowed you access to the certain people life’s and what they have done e.g. the english women that changed to islam as she felt it saved her from the past she had once had, and also the transgender girl who is now in the process to become a buy.
