I found this article quite eye opening as many would suspect at 74 years old you would be living a peaceful life, not having a worry in the world but instead we are reading about a man who really could not have defended himself but still someone felt the need to assault and murder someone that really didn't have a say in the matter.  The fact i found so horrific is that it wasn't just a quick death it seemed violent and meaningful, meaning that someone had either purposely attacked him or targeted him as being a weak person and felt the need to show their power over him. Each bit i read of this i felt more angered that someone could have done this to him, i think the age is a true factor in why i feel this way as i have grandparents this age and the fact is i imagine them at home with their cup of teas not being helpless for their lives. I can't even begin to think what these families would be going through and truly what messed up thing is going on in the murdere...

Fruitvale Station Analysis

. Fruitvale Station is an American drama film produced in 2013, written and directed by Ryan Cooger, starring Michael B. Jordan and Kevin Durand. This film is a portrayal of the true story of Oscar, a 22-year-old who wakes up on the morning of December 31, 2008 and feels something strange. Not knowing what this feeling is he decides to take a look at his resolutions he made which were being a better son to his mother (her birthday is on New Year’s Eve), being a better person to his girlfriend and being a better father to T, their daughter. He knows this will be hard and that becomes clear when he crosses path with friends, family and strangers, each meeting shows us that there's a lot more to Oscar and not everything you see is him truly. The final encounter would shake the whole of the Bay Area and cause the entire nation to witness and take in the story of Oscar Grant. The genre for this film is reality drama with a sense of romance. The key g...

I felt like nothing was new from this article, just due to the fact that i had only heard negative thing around the new adventures and doctor. I think that many have tuned out of Doctor Who due to the fact of the new Doctor. Many loved Matt Smith due to his youthfulness and really mad and eccentric personality which made his very interesting, but with Peter Capaldi you get a completely different feeling of age. Many people that i have spoken to find him very hard to watch as I do agree there is not much appealing about him at the ages Doctor Who was targeted at, I remember when i was around 10 and watching David Tennant and thinking wow he is so funny and i loved the way he put a lot of energy into his role, but i feel that if i was 10 again and watching Peter Capaldi it would be a very different story. In my opinion the only fact that enjoy it now is due to Jenna Coleman as she is youny, bubbly and actually quite funny and appealing to the eye, unlike Peter sadly but he is just ...

The Last Leg opinion.

The Last Leg is a British television show that originally ran alongside the 2012 Paralympics every night following the main coverage on Channel 4.  Hosted by Australian comedian  Adam Hills  and co-hosted by  Josh Widdicombe  and  Alex Brooker ,  it gave an alternative review of the day's events. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Last_Leg)  From watching this programme you get a complete different feel from others shows that talk the news. In this programme you see each of them discussing the matter which is 'Cecil the lion'. I like the fact that they have a live audience as you are able to see their reactions to what each of them are saying, and they can respond how they feel is necessary. From this programme you don't see it being stayed or just spoken about because they get paid you see each of them throw their true and honest opinions out there for everyone to see. Overall i really enjoyed this programme because you are able to s...

Fox News Stories

TV shooting survivor: 'I felt helpless' Sep. 15, 2015 - 5:26 - 'On the Record' Exclusive: Vicki Gardner and husband Tim Gardner on the frightening moments on the shooting, how she wished she could have helped cameraman Adam Ward and reporter Alison Parker, and Vicki's recovery.  From watching this interview in a way i felt a lot of anger, not due to the whole event that happened but to the way that the event was being told. They have the interview of Vicki Gardner (the survivor) and her husband, they go into a lot of detail around her survival and how she got through it but hardly mention the fact that two loved and innocent people are now dead because of the events that unfolded. I know in their situation you would feel relief for still being alive but they never really seem sad they are jolly and in parts make jokes about their marriage while the husband and wife of both the reporter and cameraman are sitting at home longing for this to be their reality ...

Misfits and Black Mirror

Misfits The narrative of Misfits is around a close group of friends, this allows you learn about each character and in a way connect with each of them. The series is around ' A group of young offenders doing community service but then get struck by lightning during a storm, and begin to develop superpowers'. Although this sounds cheesy and a bit childish they have made it gripping and down to earth. I feel this show did show how the world would become if we were focused solely on power and superiority, and i feel there was a bigger message around Misfits and that it did showcase how if one thing happened in your life e.g. getting a higher job or winning the lottery you know feel you have a lot more power over things and this is when you start to see the world break down into predators and the prey. I think the best thing that this programme has done was to go back to each offender's past and show how they got to where they are today, this was a ...
